Xpress... Do you think I need to cut holes in the bottom of the cowl or are the relief holes in the bottom of the tunnel enough?

Depends. Stock mufflers you have to cut elongated holes anyways to get the cowl on over them, with a canister system you won't have to. The only way to determine if you need additional cooling is if you're noticing your engine overheat in flight from bogging on uplines or shutting down in flight.

Just need to fit batteries, switches, receivers, wiring, throttle servo, and cut up the cowl. Oh and I need a new prop still.

I'm getting close too. I plan on mounting the batts on the side underneath the rear wing alignment pin. Really looking forward to maiden. The parts are of the highest quality. The fit and finish is not as good as I had hoped but is passable.

Can't say that I'm that far off from completion.. Need to cut the cowl, mount the receivers, receiver switch, do some wiring and battery mounting, and re-cover the bottom of the wing panel. Should be flight ready within the next couple of weeks I hope.

Thanks! I like to do things as cleanly and as simply as possible to eliminate any complicated diagnosing should something go wrong.
