Speaking of "popping"......The interior is coming along.......Working on the flight yolks and pedals now.

The good news is that I still have a 2nd propeller that I'll use and a new spinner will be on its way shortly, and I'm going to try a steaming trick using a hypodermic needle on the turtle deck :)

Cowl will have to wait a month or two, other things in the way.

Well work on the profile, it is coming along needed to do something else than make sawdust. So made the landing gear from piano wire I had some 0.177 diameter. Maybe to light but will try it the next size up almost doubled the weight from 3.3 oz. it is difficult to bend two pieces of wire the same, the angle is easy but where the actual bending takes place is difficult but it is done and close enough for me .
No collets for me they are big and heavy and are inclined to come off.

Looks good but I hate to say that’s prolly not gonna be strong enough. .177 is around 3/16 which is good up to around a 20cc. On my 50cc I used 1/4” aluminum bar stock and even that will splay out on rough landings.

Ok what do you mean by 1/4 bar stock. Need more information is 1/4 think by ? Inches wide and the grade please for example 6061T6 of what thanks.
