Has anyone ever tried towing banners with RC planes?

I would think a plane setup for aero tow would work well.

the problem with that is that the gliders with Aero-tow fly above the tow plane but a banner would hang down below the plane so the hook up would have to be below the plane for a banner, IIHTG (If I had to guess, just made that up, feel free to use it )

Probably wouldn't be to bad if I printed on mesh banner material, be lightweight and possibly less drag.

We've had several guys in our club tow a banner and also a streamer that was about 10" wide and a 100' long. The long streamer was being towed by the 110" Hangar 9 Beaver with electric power.
