Hangar 9 3.1M Sukhoi

Just got finished ordering a set of 5" wheels, titanium axels and a tail wheel assembly from white rose. Can't believe how crappy the stock stuff is

Couldn't stand it any longer with the big SU-26 standing in the corner. All you guys with your Sukhoi's were starting to make me feel a little inadequate. I decided it was time to at least start something on it. Broke out the extensions from TDRC and began wiring the fuse. A few pictures of small yet definite progress.

Chad's extensions are great. Did you get these http://www.taildraggerrc.com/20-awg-dual-servo-multiplex-extension-harnesss/ for the wings. Sure makes life easier.

I did not....I had been looking at them as well as others. http://www.electrodynam.com/store/102.shtml But just not sure which ones I want. I want to make (one) connection to my Smart-Fly board. On my Pilot Edge, I am connecting the aileron servo leads straight to my SF. Which eliminates extra connections, but not sure I like it this way. Either way, I looked at Chads and I really like them. I will be going with one or the other for sure.

Stangflyer: How did you get the "60cc Cool Guy" to replace "Glow Pilot"? I can't find anything to update my profile to fix that misnomner.

It's cuz I am just cool like that. LOL....Actually you are at 3 posts. Upon getting 50 you will become a 30cc something. (can't remember, sorry). At 100 posts, you will then be like me. A COOL GUY.....:fist-pump-and-yes-s

But don't stop there..... You become even "cooler" with more posts. Look at my buddies Super 08, Bunky, Robo, and the rest not mentioned. I can never be "that" cool. LOL

I am not as cool as Bunky yet, a few more posts and I will be. The next step up for me is at 250 posts.

I did a little more wiring in the fuselage today. I haven't completed the final stages as I am deciding what I want to do with the can tunnel and the inside of the airframe. Holy crap there is enough room in there to crawl in and take a nap. I started with a couple of pieces of lite ply to make receptacle braces. I attached them to the inside of the fuse then cut the needed openings for the female plug receptacles. Once in place, it is going to be so sweet to just plug in the wing panel and secure the wing bolts from inside the fuse. Here are a few pictures of progress.
