You are caught up with me now:)
I have a band saw and cut one part with it but the rest I did the same as you. It actually was easier I thin k for the elevators.

You will probably have yours done before me, once I get my trailer I want to work on it too. I think you are right with the razor saw being easier.

I am so happy to see the progress on the Hyper Edge, everything looks great glad to see you back in action.

I have a band saw you are welcome to use. I cut the ailerons out of my wing cores with it unless your wing cores are a lot larger than mine and the same goes for the rudder and elevators.

Thanks Elwin, might have to see if it will fit in your bandsaw when the time comes for doing the cutting.

My wing halves for the 38 percent Laser are 52.250 long and the root rib is 24.250 and unless your wing halves are much larger we should be able to cut them.

I got the stabs/elevators and fin/rudder in the bags today. You see the carbon fiber placement in the photos. I'm going to deviate from the plans and add counter balances to the elevators. I was able to get all three items in the vacuum bag with the small pump without any problems. I sure do like this vacuum bagging. I'm going to try and get the wings ready during the week so maybe I can get them bagged next weekend. Finally making some good progress again.

I am so on the fence if I should try this . I was thinking if I did do this I would use a hollow core door from lowes as a flat building surface. What do you guys think?

Thanks

Adam
This is a very nice kit and so is the Viper-ST. I know that a lot of builder have used hollow core doors for years to build planes, but I use a piece of MDF. I like the MDF because I can get it cut in any size I want and I can screw down my aluminum angle iron to it when I build the fuse. Go a head and jump off the fence and build one of these kits. if you run into any problems there is plenty of help on this forum that you can get help.
