Cut Tape for Vinyl

Has anybody used this stuff for covering? Cut tape popped up in my amazon suggested products and I googled it up and found this video.

Seems like it might work for covering. Just curious if anybody has already been a guinea pig and tried it. (And yes I know razor blades and patterns work fine but this looks pretty cool)

I saw two brands. One called WrapCut had poor reviews and the one that that looks like its from the video is called Knifeless and has better reviews but 2x the price.

Only problem I can see is covering has more surface tension so the cut line may be a little more sloppy, but I've been wrong before!!

so who's going to try it on Monokote? what is the filament made of? you could rub glue stick on a strand of carbon fiber and it might work just as well. what's that fishing leader material, the green stuff that is really thin and impossible to break, that might work well too. you just can't get a lot of glue stick left behind, maybe let it dry on the strand a bit before sticking it to your airframe.
