Pancake
50cc
Brison 6.4, with exhaust, CH ignition, Walbro carb, and matched 2 blade Solo adjustable pitch prop. Exhaust is tapped for smoke. Perfect for scale applications, with long exhaust tubes for big round cowls.
I removed this from a barely flown 1/3 Waco that I am putting a larger engine into. On close inspection, this engine is not even close to being broken in. I has run maybe 3 times in it's life. The plugs are barely discolored, and you can still see aluminum shine on the piston tops and inside the exhaust pipes. From what I can tell it's never seen Ethanol fuel as all the Tygon in the airplane was still totally flexible (like new). When people say "They don't build em like they used to" they might as well be talking about this engine! Strong, light, and made to last.
Engine retailed for $1,400.00, and the prop is at least $250.00 new. That's a $1,650.00 value for $450!!!
