There's another new site starting for us Canadians called rccanucks. Just fired up last week so far a great group of guys like everyone that's on here.

From everything I have seen it IS allowed, and that is one of the things that makes this site great. Good luck and have fun in the north. My old club had several Canadians in the winter when it wasn't flyable back home.
