Side guides are tight but slightly too far back, as far forward as I can get them. Blade is 18tpi x 3/8" and brand new. Tension is maxed. Saw is cheap but I needed a saw today. Proxxon or other better saw another day maybe.- dhal22

Looking around at angle blocks and wondered if cutting up a piece of angle iron would be cheaper. A few clicks and McMaster Carr put a 25 lb hunk of angle iron on my doorsteps. Gotta get an abrasive chop saw blade and give it a whirl.- dhal22
