    So I picked up some 10-32 threaded rod to make myself some of those clamps like you have. Just to be sure I'm reading your drawing correctly only one of the two aluminum pieces has threaded holes and the other has a through hole at the bottom and a hole only drilled half-way in the top.

    Yeah I did the same thing on my Cap with the stone looking paint. I painted mine first though and then went back over it with the thinned epoxy to seal everything up. Looks awesome Bart.
