    Yeah Spats' Yak 54 is HUGE for a 40%. It makes his other 40%'s look small. I haven't heard anybody talk bad about that airplane either. Can't comment on flight characteristics because I haven't flown it.

    Woohoo the Yak flies again!!! Super happy with it, just need to do some fine tuning to the CG (nose heavy) and it'll be perfect.

    What I can tell you is that if you're not going to use the 2s Lipo then discharging them to storage voltage (3.85v per cell) is the best method to prolong the life of the cells and ensure that they give off their maximum power. Mostly any computerized charger with a built in balancer function...

    I just bought a Hitec X1 (not the touch display model) that's got AC and DC power options. Charge connected to a 12v power source or charge at home/with a generator. Not a super high end charger as it basically uses the exact same software as some 80% of commonly available chargers out there...

    Looks like it can't handle much over 6 volts. That may work with a regulated 2s lipo pack just fine.

    Does someone out there make an LED light controller that I can turn on or off from the receiver? Something preferably that uses a separate power battery than the receiver, since the LED lights I'm planning on using would be on a higher voltage.
