    Unless the uploader is being paid for the advertisements in the video, then this is not a commercial operation, and the FAA is in the wrong here (as they have been throughout the entire process regarding model aviation in general).

    I have an older Honda EM650 generator that was retired from fire service. The thing still works awesome, have to use devices that take up to 160v input because it does put out a lot of juice. Fires every time first pull no longer how long it's been sitting. Not as quiet as the newer Honda...

    I wish I had the room for the additional weight but I'm stuck with using the cheapie foamy wheels since it's an electric. Need all the weight savings I can get. I need a 3" wheel as well so I can use my spats, the 4" wheels on it now are too large.

    All of the giants can seem to land in half our runway no problem. The slimers have the most issues, might be because of the higher wing loading.. :banana-dance:

    Hey man that runway can be hairy to land some airplanes on! You should see some of these guys try to land. There's barely enough runway for them to stop.

    365 foot runway ontop of an old landfill. To the sides and behind us are hills sloped about 20* down, then there is a 200 ft hill directly in front of us about 200 feet out. Oh and did I mention all of the methane gas pipelines we fly around? See pics of hill and pipelines in previous post.

    I fly ontop of an aircraft carrier with all kinds of terrain around. 5mph seems like nothing until you realize that one second it's blowing straight in and the next it's coming from the side, and all of 5 seconds later it's coming from the other side :eek:

    Bit breezy at about 5mph constant, but that didn't stop me. I think I need to order a Graphtech main gear for it... The aeroworks gear handles real funny.. They say they have them in stock.. hmm..
