Aerobeez 70″ Slick PRO Step By Step Build Guide

My input is 6S is plenty for this airplane. It accelerates just as fast as any other 3D airplane does, pulls right out of a hover with authority, and gives you good power when you're down low on the deck. 8s is pushing it and anything bigger is just way overkill IMO. Too much power when you're...

    ESC suggestions

Probably suggest a Jeti Spin 99 OPTO ESC. It's really just a fantastic ESC, you will need a separate BEC though. Well worth every penny, make sure you get the Jeti Box field programmer for it though.

Aerobeez 70″ Slick PRO Step By Step Build Guide

I have an agreement with the local schools principal that I wouldn't fly anything bigger than 2-3 pounds. He doesn't mind as long as I stick to that.

Aerobeez 70″ Slick PRO Step By Step Build Guide

It's just a big airplane and if anything goes wrong I do NOT want it hitting someone or going into someones house. The 48" foamies are about the biggest airplanes I'll fly at the school.

Favorite Aerobatic RC Airframe (Style not Brand) - POLL

I voted Slick. I have flown 2 of them from different manufacturers and they all fly just amazing. There's TONS of side area on the fuselage, no knife edge coupling, extremely good characteristics in high alpha, they roll clean and true, hover extremely well, it's overall a fantastic airplane...

    Power systems/ Hitec A9?

I believe the 7980's are just a hair larger because it's a beefier servo. Needs just a little bit of extra room inside. For future notes for all: Hitec HS5XXX and HS7XXX servos: 24 spline Hitec HS8XXX and HS9XXX servos: 25 spline
