The I'm NOT going out flying thread.

Man I got the short end of the stick this weekend sort of. I had to go do a little demo at another local(ish) club for the company (electric only club) and then Sunday we had a Presidential TFR. No gas :( Still had fun at the other club but have been itching to burn some fuel lately...

Bent up a new tailwheel wire for the 107" Yak since it broke at the Lodi huck. Castered tailwheels only work if there's no wind :oblong:

Decided I couldn't resist leaving the 107" Edge in its box, so I pulled it out and slid the wings on and bolted the main gear up. Definitely replacing the plastic wheels with some good White Rose gear :oblong:

Started assembly on the 44" 3DHS Slick tonight. Goes together pretty easy, most of the hard stuff is already done. I managed to break the threads right off of one of the axle shafts tonight, @SupaTim is sending me a new set. Thanks again bro :way_to_go: Motor should arrive tomorrow!!!

Some assistance needed, 40% Yak 54

Both Spats and one other guy at our club use GP-176 EVO's on their 40% Pilot Yaks, seems to yank them around like they're toys..

You might be able to contact Tony and ask what the colors are, I'm certain he would know.

    Weird servo feedback under load

Cycle the servos a lot, especially if new. Sometimes they just need to 'break in'.

Awful quiet around here today..... I ordered the motor for the 44" Slick today. Found out about an all electric event a couple hours north of me that is going on the 23-25th this month, so I guess this project just got pushed to the front of the table. Going to use HS-65MG's, just need to put...
