    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

I seen that!!!:banana::banana::banana: Well I printed out the little certificate thing they emailed to me and I put it in my wallet. From what I gather, as long as we operate under the AMA umbrella, I don't need to put the number on my airplanes, only the usual AMA info.

So what do you drive ? Show it up .........

I've got 2 rides. First one is my 1996 Jeep Grand with the 5.2L V8 under the hood. I use this to haul my airplanes around as well as get myself to work and back on rainy or otherwise foul weather days. Also as the weekend toy for when we want to go out and offroad :epic: It's a beater, but it's...

Are you going to register with the FAA? Cast Your Vote!

I went ahead and signed up today as I feel I will need it for work related events and whatnot, despite me saying I will not do it. If I were not working in the industry, I'd probably never bother.

    Aerobeez "BANSHEE" 91" Slick build

Some SWB bling to get the servo install started... Of course I still have to hinge the ailerons, cut out the pockets, and fit the control horns first, but at least they're ready to go in when that's all done :banana-dance:

Lot better method than a tiller arm I think, the spring is very difficult to bend outta whack ;)

Got more work done this weekend. Tailwheel bolted in place. Rudder is hinged- took all of 10 seconds using the supplied rudder wire. Tiller spring in place. Notice the collar that secures the rudder wire in place as well. Up until this point, everything has essentially been bolted in...

Got to work on trying to tidy up the mess in my shop. Made a significant dent in there today, but still plenty of stuff to do.

Thank you @David Cokley ! I love the Slick design- huge fuselage, lots of wing area, a great solid 3D airplane design.

    Aerobeez "BANSHEE" 91" Slick build

Well I spent most of my day trying to tidy up my workshop (it's still a disaster) but at least I got the elevators hinged up and sealed. Nothing out of the ordinary here. I always dry fit the hinges first and make sure they are ready to go in. Had to trim about 1/16" off of a few of the hinges...
