    Got the 120 mocked in place last night in the Edge :epic: Oh YEAH baby!!!!!! :yesss: Looks like a relief hole will need to be cut for the plug cap on the port side of the cowl.... :oblong: She looks so anxiously flight ready :D:D Hopefully I'll get a chance to do more work...

    Whelp, I'm as far as I can go until I get more parts. Motor standoffs ordered up, just need a prop, an IBEC, and some White Rose wheels/axles to round it off :epic:

    I quite like :yesss: -------------- Got my rudder servo installed, rudder control horn glued in, and firewall glued in. Waiting on epoxy to dry and then I'll finish the rudder linkage and then figure out how far I need to space the engine..

    Doesn't look like they have M4 washers/canopy locks, guess I'll have to search elsewhere. I did spend a small fortune at McMaster Carr today, canopy washer will have to wait for another time :eek::laughing:

    Tonight I got control horns on the 2nd wing panel on the Pilot Edge glued in place and set the linkages up on the first wing. It can be a bit of a challenge getting both servos to be perfectly synced with each other but I wound up with about 45 degrees of throw in each direction and both...

    Printed out a protractor and cut a hole exactly where the output shaft needs to go dead nuts on the center of the protractor, this should help dial in my servo throws :)

    Well that's one panel nearly completed, just need to match the servos and bolt the linkages in place. Still waiting for the glue to dry tonight on the control horns otherwise I would have finished it. The 2nd panel is almost done, just need to glue control horns in and setup linkages. What...

    Rob have you ever had a problem with the Tygon chaffing where it passes through the plywood? I'm always paranoid about that and always install these rubber grommets... :omg:

    Tonight I worked on getting my elevator servos synced on my 91" Aerobeez Slick. They're 95% synced, I think one of the stabs is warped though, either from dragging them on the ground :epic: or from leaving them in the car for a couple of days in the high of the desert summer... Either way...

    Felt so good just to get out and huck today :) Leaned the HS needle on the ZDZ180 just a hair and WOW holy cow did this motor wake up!!!! Ripping the prop unmercifully even on the uplines!!!!! This 42lb behemoth will hover at just a bit over 1/4 throttle :eek:
