    Successful re-maiden of the Yak, just need to do a couple of mild flights on her when I get to Washington on Wednesday and it'll be ready to throw down. Have 3 flights on her now of just boring circles in the sky- Engine is all tuned up and running great, more power every flight.

    Did the baffling on my Yak Tuesday night, she's just about ready to huck :) A few flights to seat the engine this weekend.

    Spent the last 2 nights putting the yak back together, just need to baffle the cylinders and it'll be ready to fly again. Just in time for a handful of flights this Saturday :)

    Got all the parts for my Yak :D Will be fitting them to the airplane next week, hoping for a re-maiden and some time on the engine Saturday 8/26, and then pack everything back into the van the following Sunday to leave the following Tuesday for TriCities.

    Hmm your 120 is drinking gas... Mine new 120 that have yet to set the needles on doesn't use that much fuel, I can get about 8-10 minutes of hard 3D and manage to use only slightly more than half a tank. Both my 120's are like that.

    Was an overall great weekend this weekend. Got my Edge all dial'd in as good as it's gonna get, now it'll be parked until TriCities at the end of the month :) Also it was National Model Aviation Day on Saturday so of course my club held a fun fly event to raise money for a local charity.

    That's what I've used with my DA70, both my DA120's, and my ZDZ180 without a problem. No filtering, just a straight pass through. I filter my fuel twice before it enters the tank.

    What a fun weekend. Went out and 'test flew' the new Multiplex Easy Glider 4 RR, took the girlfriend out and let her get some more stick time on her Multiplex Heron, and of course got some more stick time in on the Pilot Edge. I've got the CG on the Edge just about where I want it :)

    I have the smallest straps PureTech makes (2" ID) and they are still too large, I have some other velcro straps that should work, come to think of it... o_O

    I honestly don't know why some guys will fire their engine up and then immediately run it wide open before any heat has been generated. This is the worst thing you can do for an engine, especially these 2 stroke air cooled engines. They need to have heat in them before turning the RPM's. I fire...

    Sorry, I was mistaken, it's the same V3 but with different schemes other than the Hamilton scheme. http://pilot-rc.com/ProductShow.aspx?id=128 Some of the original Edge 540's had flat stabs. (borrowed from alamy.com, hope they don't mind).
