Just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself.

Name is Dustin and I live in Walnut Creek, California.

Been an on again, off again flyer over the last 30 or so years.

I'm FINALLY in a place in my life that I can afford to pull the trigger on the plane I've ALWAYS wanted ... the Great Planes Waco 72" and I can't get it because of the whole Hobbico happenings.

Here's hoping things will turn around for the hobby we love.

Anyways ... hope everyone is well and I'll see you on the boards.

Welcome Dustin! I have assembled a GP Waco 72" for a buddies LHS as a static display, No engine or servos. This was maybe three years ago, I remember it going together well and an overall nice ARF. Please share your assembly!!!

I wish I could get one. Tower is out of stock until late June and i've called just about every LHS in about a 100 mile radius with no luck.

My concern is that it's a GP model and their future is up in the air (pun intended) ..

All I can do is keep hoping ... I've been eyeballing that plane for about as long as I can remember

Hi guys...!!! I want all you to know that our RCUC Club's Instagram is working since a couple of months. Go to Instagram on aeromodelismo_rcuc page and enjoy watching the planes we used to fly.

According to this thread:

I think it best to avoid Active Power Sports ... as tempting as it is...

I had the order ready to go and thought that I'd give them a call just to be sure there would be no problems, that they had it in stock, etc... and there was no phone number anywhere ... so I googled it.
