Wow go figure....49 degrees and 10mph winds and sunny skies...PERFECT flying weather for Chicago in October/November!

Mike, I was going based on the weather we were expecting, not what showed up. By the time I realized I had good flying weather, it was too late as we did a family event instead. Time was still well spent, and I'm going flying tomorrow morning!

Hand uPdate !!! So, the scar has healed and my grip is BACK ! Still unable to put any weight on the palm (EX: put my hand down to get up off the floor). My thumb is stiLL stiFF though and I believe it's the 'older person condition' :crying: Several of y'aLL know what I'm referring tOO !

Awesome! glad you are making progres with your recovery..
I did my PT yesterday and did not take pain meds before hand and got through it ok. This was first time since surgery with no pain meds. Maybe this is good sign..

Thanks buddy. I am not without pain but it is getting better. Dr says its gonna take a while and not to rush it. Hardware and body must come to an understanding lol. And some ligament needs to ride somewhere else than popping back and forth across that dang screw head lol.

Why didn't you tell the Doctor to use a countersunk screw?
