The local autobody supply that I normally go to could not decipher the Imron paint code, when a little farther away to a store that sells DuPont products, identified the red code and had them mix a quart of acrylic enamel paint.
Still working on the ailerons and flaps, the corrugations are getting to be a pain!

Found these sanding sticks on Amazon. These work very well sanding the ends of the corrugations. Was trying to sand with my finger but that didn't work very well! The sticks have a flat side and a round side, nice for getting into tight places.

No progress on the Cherokee, still finishing up the mods to the Champ. Purchased this 40cc starter kit for an Ephil 40 cc engine that I hope to marry to the Saito 61 TS. Future project, decided over the weekend that I'm getting too to flip these engines.

Interesting hope you give us all the details on the starter up grade. I believe that the Kolm makes a starter kit for the engine I have as you hand cranking that engine it is not going to be easy if it does not start on first few flips.

Very cool. I decided a while back that my next gas plane will have electric start.

Oh you know I will!
It getting the fuel into the carb that takes the time and effort. I think an electric fuel pump would help as well.

A bigger plane means the prop and choke are higher (ergo, easier to get to. I say go bigger……

Can't go much bigger, wouldn't fit in the van!. Choke on a servo,, just need to flip the prop.

You need a big jet they are remote start.
