Tru Turn Spinner Question

I have a 5" Tru Turn spinner that is drilled for a DLE 170. Has anyone ever re-drilled the backplate to fit other motors? I want to drill the backplate to fit a 120 if possible. If not, I'll order another backplate. I am just looking for success or non-success stories.

I have done it before with success. If both are 6 bolt holes, just put the new holes inbetween the old holes.

That is what I figured, but I have never done it myself. I'll give it a whirl!!

I did it with a smaller one with a 4 bolt pattern. Worked perfectly.

I've redrilled them w/o issue but I used a drill press and prop drill guide
