Can you describe what not working properly means in this case? Not powering up, can set it up of communicate or doesn't work as expected, etc.

I can get it to startup and work properly but not always. I put it away for a year or so from frustration. The other day I decided to give it another go. Fiddled with it for a couple days nothing worked. So connected it to my pc and reset the gyro back to original setup from the factory. Installed it back into the plane everything worked except the rudder this time. With gyro turned off everything worked as it should. But when activated the Gyro the ailerons and elevators worked properly but the rudder was backwards. No matter what I did nothing work. Pulled it out of the plane back to the PC and check everything found nothing. Did several reboots nothing the rudder kept going the wrong way. Went back to Demon Cortex to ask for help that was a wast of time. Never got a response, so much for doing business with them again.

Have you tried setting up the rudder opposite during the 2x and 1x green blinking light session and see what happens?

No I have not will tried that interesting thought, feel kind stupid that I did not think of trying that thanks will give that a go.

No, I think Dhal22 may have. He was talking about Power Box some time ago. I'm using a FrSky X9D 2019 SE radio. Pretty sure I'm the only using an X9d at the scale contests!

My Power Box experience was brief. I won a club raffle prize of 1-2 hours of instruction with Extreme Flight pilot Antonio de Souza and he uses PowerBox transmitters. That transmitter is amazing but I couldn’t pass up a great Futaba 18SZ deal. No further experience with PowerBox…..

Ok I am getting impulsive in my older age. Found a forum on EF1 speed planes and a gentleman on the forums was selling EF1 fuselage kits only no wings. With all the stuff I have been playing with lately I thought why not so I ordered the fuselage kit to see how did it and how he did all his inter locking. Well it looks like we think alike a lot, have to admit you cannot make a lot of changes or make anything much different on simple small square fuselage. Must say his cutting is accurate and neat. Spent the day or so looking at it getting it ready to assemble the fuselage.

Please note the weather still sucks it has stopped raining but the wind is unbelievable, mowed the flying field several times but no flying. This has got to change have to stop building and get flying and doing maintenance.

I found out my rotary table has a MT3 tapered opening not a straight through hole.

I ordered a blank millable MT3 shaft and it fits perfectly. I will mill the blank to 3/4” or so and use this in a collet as a centering device.
