Well busy in the shop this is what happens when your thumbs and your brain are not in sink when you are just feet of the ground. Couple days and it will be back in the air. Nothing else except my pride and a propeller and o yes a small ding on the wing tip.
Rolling harriers are difficult to do. Need more practice.

You have had it so long you do not need it send it to me so I can cut it up into 18mm squares stripes so that I can fix my slightly damaged profile.

Good try, but it's invaluable to me. It started it's life as a 36" piece. Very handy to have a balsa tree truck around. SIG Mfg looks like has a good price for a 3"x3"x36" balsa block for $22.87, I've had my block for years... I originally purchased it to make some droop tips for a 1:5 SuperCub. B-USA was only a couple bucks more. Not sure about shipping.

WoW!! looks very sharp!

Edit: for some reason I thought this was a dumpster rebuild. WAY wrong. It's a detail rebuild donated by @acerc look at post 6869 on page 687

Thank you.

I guess it's an "Almost Dumpster'd" Cub rebuild :ooh?:. Robert was cleaning out and making ready for his new projects and was going to throw away the Cub. So I decided to meet up with him and take care of the disposal :). The plane was not with out issues though.
It had some serious damage from an obvious crash that had ripped the wing off and almost broke the fuse in half. I was fortunate to be able to do a sturdy repair of the airframe with out having to remove any of the stits covering but I did peel it back in some places to make repairs. Many pictures of the rework throughout this thread. I should have started a thread on its own . Basically I made repairs and while doing so made all modifications to scale up the appearance. I have built 3 Cubs in the past. One of them being a Sig like this one. Never went this far with the details before. In time and if it does not take another "dirt nap" it will get control wires, seat belts, David Clark radio headsets and a "Fat Guy" pilot :dancing-poop:.

And to note, "It was not I that gave it the dirt work" that was the way I got it back after giving it away once before. It is really nice being able to see it repaired and spruced back up and then some.
I would also like to note, "No matter what Dimes does it is not coming back here"!

Sorry if it sounded like the "dirt work" was at your hand. You and I know what happened like you said. But!....."Dirt Work" has gotten many hands dirty including my own o_O. My first flights with the old engine lead to a right side landing gear that got peeled back like a
banana :brian-banana: and the cowl cracked open with the dummy engine broke loose and pieces of it missing in action. Picture of it somewhere in here :D.

Speaking of "Dirt Work".....At the scale fly in a couple of weeks ago I also took another fun plane. My "Ain't your momma's" QQ300.

Because of the flight line rules I had to carry the plane to the runways edge and then walk 20 yards to the pilots station. It was very windy and the plane ended up nosing over and scuffing up my new tru-turn spinner, ruining the prop and scuffing up the fronts of the wheel pants . Good news is APC now makes their electric props in black and a sharpie along with a paint pen made all the dirt wash away :D.
