Putting together this hoopty for a buddy. I wound up buying a new 70CC airplane after lightly crashing this unit from an engine issue so this one was going to go to the scrap heap when he stepped up to take it from me and buy new parts.

OF COURSE I got roped into reassembling it for him. But it's all good, the more big planes at the club the better.

Ok JR Radio help please.
trying to understand the trim in function on my T44 do you have any more info on this, trying to use it for gyro setup. Thanks. Seen the video in Japanese difficult to follow.
if understand the function I would like to have switch to turn the gyro on and off and have slider or rotary knob to turn it up until the plane oscillates .

I had a World radio in the early 80’s. All Futaba since so no help with JR. Although I do have a couple of Spektrum radios.

Not really in the shop and not really flying. Anyway this is me and Luc starting up a very large Typhoon with a 3 cylinder 230cc four stroke engine for the first time.
Well I will say is nobody is going to hold that plane back by himself at full throttle. I was impressed to say the least. Bad weather but we enjoyed starting and running the engine?

I've been a little sidetracked lately with steam engines. I recently acquired a couple and am in the process of building one.

The one I'm building

Very cool.

On a similar note, A few years ago a friend of mine got into Hit and Miss engines. He use to start them up in his yard just to hear them run. It was pretty cool to see and hear.
