It would be nice if they made DA 140 from the Da35. Would be perfect for a 120 size plane and the sound and smoothness would also be great. I know some people would complain about the extra weight but I believe most of us would love to own a smaller DA140 4 cylinder.

That would be neato. They have definitely been venturing off into some new territories lately so who knows.

We can only hope, my problem would be I just love engines and would persuade my self that I need one. Then end up with an engine and then looking for something to put it in just like the Kolm engine I just could not pass up.

We just had had a perfect day for flying still cold but no wind and bright blue sky. So of to the field. 1/2 hour later just a stupid pilot error I cracked the landing gear and landing gear plate. Did not nock it off just cracked everything. So to day starts my 2026 Maintenance 6 hours later new carbon gear plate carbon gear replaced with aluminum gear. Propeller cleaned up and rebalanced. Everything reassembled and ready to just a little heavier by 1/2 oz.

Did an electric event this last weekend in Phoenix with all the buddies, it was a much needed break from reality (which has been kicking our azz lately!). Glad we opted for a toy hauler, makes hauling a load of airplanes easier
