I like the A-10 so mush I have three of them The E-flite Twin 64 mm, the FMS Twin 70 mm and the Free Wing Twin 80 mm. My Free Wing is in the paint shop getting the Artic Camo done on it but I am using Different colors on it. and I just received the Artic decals from Callie the other day I flew the FMS A-10 Thunderbolt today for the 2nd and 3rd flights, Wind 10 to 15 N head wind. With all the armament Installed. 2nd flight was with an Admiral 6c 5000 50c and the 3rd flight was with an RT 6c 4400 70c same time in the air 3.30 minutes after the two flights I checked to see what I had left in each battery the 5000 checked out at 38%, and 3.86 per cell left, and the RT 4400 checked out at 24% and 3.77 per cell. As far as how they performed in flight I did not notice much difference between the two. This video is with the RT 4400 70c

Here is an Aerial video I did late this afternoon 6:00 pm with my 2.1 Cessna with one of my go pro's facing down mounted on the right side of the fuselage. Had a great time doing this one I had the zoom at full. With telemetry altitude right at 300ft AGL. At one point in the video you can see a kite some kids were flying from the Fair grounds

We had a lot of activity at the field this weekend. The weather temperature wise was awesome. It was a bit breezy now and then, but not too bad. Saturday afternoon we had a group of guys flying control line. It's been a long time since I've seen that! Some of the guys were pretty good at control line stunt, a real blast from the past.
Today we had a group of guys flying EDF jets off the east/west runway and a bunch of gassers on the north/south. Several were getting ready for the Rolla Fly-In over on @pawnshopmike 's side of the Mississippi.
I flew my Pilot Edge with a GP61 that I've been having trouble starting. I talked with Joe at Aviator Plus a week or so ago and I bought a new carb from him and he also sent me a new ignition sensor. I'm happy to say that it fixed my problems and starts fairly easily now.

Our annual Extreme Flight flyin was Saturday.. We had a great turnout and had several Extreme Flight pilots showing off their skills. The Extreme Flight owner is a club member and spent some time showing us his preferred setup tricks.

Extreme Flight donated several airplanes, servos, motors, hats, shirts, etc to a club fund raiser raffle. One club member won 2 (TWO!) airplanes.

In my opinion the best prize was the instructional session with Extreme Flight pilot Antonio de Souza. Which I won........:banana-dance:

I use my 2.! Cessna E-flite as a trainer and have had people stop by where we fly and ask what is like so I take them up with my 2.1 Cessna. I always take it with me I had three retired Air Force Pilots stop by today so we took them up with the Cessna on my DX8's wireless trainer setup they all had fun then I installed a GO-PRO on the fuse and took this Aerial video this morning I also flew two of my A-10's, F4-Phantom and my T-33

Been some perfect weather for sure.

We had a work day today at our field in Rolla. Got it all ready to go for our big event next weekend. Should be an awesome time as usual.

@Jetpainter I talked with Joe about a week ago about my GP76, He shared some of his insight and ended up sending my ignition to him. Hes a good guy to be the GP distributor here in the USA. Willing to listen and chat.

@dhal22 Nice prize! Instruction can be very rewarding and will challenge us to do what we do better. I'm still waiting for Jase to make a "How to Jase like the Ace" book or DVD LOL He'd make so much money! Must have been neat to see Chris explain some setup tricks.

We had our 2nd Annual Jet Flyin Saturday. The wind scared a lot of people off, but we ended up having a great day and lots of fun. It was mostly EDF's but there were 4 turbine powered foam jets there. They were all converted Freewing EDF airplanes, and they sure were impressive. A guy from a local club makes conversion kits with a custom fuel tank and tail pipe. He brought 3 airplanes and probably got ten 6 to 10 minute flights in.
I flew my 80mm Freewing Mig-21 and a 90mm Freewing Stinger. My last flight of the day was with the Mig and it was really gusty, which made the flight pretty sporty! If the wind blows hard in just the perfect direction over the pavilion it makes this really swirly spot where the runways intersect. It damn near rolled me over, but luckily I caught it in time. We did lose one airplane, a really wildly painted Mirage. The guy lost it and it went straight in wide open. It happened while I was flying, but I saw a video of it and it went in like a dart.
