Sounds like " just build it" is the advice.

Thanks

BTW

I know it is small.

Two reasons for that choice.

Fits in any vehicle, can carry it around for opportunistic flying.

One of my flying sites is limited to park flyer weight restriction of 2 lbs.

The magic prop is 12.75 x 3.75 for that size engine. I just love the fact that the engine runs on gas without an ignition! I heard from a friend today that it is working really well on planks.

I am used to E props. How is it you can fly a plan on a 12.75 with a pitch of only 3.75? Is it because the motor spins much faster than a comparable E-motor?

40 size glow 3d planes used to fly really well on that same prop, so if that gas motor behaves anything like the glow ones used to, then it should be fun.

Yea... 10000+ rpms vs 7000 we shoot for in electric. It won't be super speedy but you get really good torque for better vertical.

I had that whole experiment with the 10GX which is a .61 engine converted to gas. 13x4 was the best prop we tried. The new 8cc is in the new mustang PTS and I am not sure if it released yet.

I missed the whole glow 3D era.

My 15cc 60" edge is still going. Just have not gotten it out since last season. I should turn that project over to someone who wants to put the time into it as it is pretty interesting and does work. I think a 60" extra setup for IMAC would be a better choice as it is on the heavy side and you could fly 4-5 sequences on a tank of gas.
