Here is a picture of my pump setup.  The bracket like I said was made from some leftover flashing I had and I used this with another pump for years with a switchbox.  I just used the supplied bracket to attach.  You can see the two position rocker switch on the top of the pump.

Thanks...that is what I want to do. I like that and I have several A 123s I could use to power the pump. It said in the specs that 6.6 volts was acceptable for that pump and I see you are using a Life battery.
