Some progress on the tank end piece.

Sealed the wood with old gummy sanding sealer. Was hoping for more of a metal finish because of that but not really.

Getting close to fuel tank decision time. My choices are the glow OS 320 4 cylinder or the methanol Kavan 50 4 stroke.

I'll make this as a component and glue it after the tank install.

Actually I think all this area is 1/4" so strip planking it is. Doesn't need to be perfect so low efforts will be invested in tight joints.

What is the difference in the tanks for each engine? Both engines are the same size and are burning glow fuel.

Wonder how cold galvanized spray paint would look. The tank in the almost looks galvanized but I think it is just painted.

Tony, correct on the methanol. Just a brain slip. Maybe it's the research I'm putting into my next 4 stroke (Valach, Roto, etc).

Screws, lots of little (LITTLE) screws.

Randomly ordering little screws until I find what sizes I need.

This looks good. The M1 screw was too small, M1.4 looks allot better. M2 is too big.
