Multiplex plugs - What's the consensus?

I have a PAU 35% Extra 300 that I'm outfitting. I was wondering what people thought about 4 aileron servo setups? Does soldering wires and using the multiplex plugs make sense? Do they last a long time and stay tight? Should I just use regular extensions and servo keepers? Just curious what people do.

No need to solder, taildragger rc sells em pre made with tails, love em. Makes for clean install, electrodynamics has the ones with positve lock now. Very cool.

Since you asked about MPX, I can give you actual experience with these from POWERBOX. They are available at DURALITE and I have been using them for over 5 years (the same set), in 3 different aircraft (42% Extreme Flight EX300 used in IMAC competition w/ HV JR Servos). You cannot make a mistake when you are plugging them in, since the connectors fit only one way and the connections are solid.

I am using the Hobbyking MPX connectors on my 35% Extra and even though I only have about 10 flights on them, I will be converting my 42% Edge wings to the same setup! You can't beat one plug to hook up a wing with 2 or more servos in it. I was also a little skittish on the connectors staying together, but so far no creeping at all on either of the connectors!

I will say this though, if you are not real good at soldering in close quarters, then Taildragger's cables are the way to go!

Awesome! Yea, originally I was thinking about getting the green ones from Esprit... but then I saw the red ones on Taildragger. I like those, and you don't have to solder. I don't mind soldering connections, but I was debating whether I should do it or not. It sounds like these all work really well.

I like the positive locks from Tbolt too! hmmm... decisions!

I like those connecters from taildragger. I been using these in all my planes so far.
