I have competed 5 or 6 times at the US Scalemasters Regional Qualifier in the Fun Scale division with a 35% Extra ARF, it has always been fun.

This Green ARF I flew for about 3 years was stripped, recovered with fabric, painted and detailed for Top Gun this year: it finished 4th in Unlimited.

It has been a steep learning curve to see what was involved!

Most of the detailing was done by Steve Warltier, and Curtis Switzer was the pilot. We plan on improving it again for next year.

as of now I am back in the same holding pattern. We may decide to do a Balsa USA 1/3 scale Sopwith kit over the winter


Nice job Hubb. Let me know if you want the aluminum gear made to match full scale. lol
