And this is what I ended up with, used zap goo to secure and a mile of tape to secure, very happy with it so far. Fiberglassing is next.

Dash is handmade and sheeted, panel from sac midwest , pilot bust is aircraft international and hand painted, wondering if helmet needs graphics or color stripes before gluing in, any suggestions or leave it white ?

I like excessive.. obviously. Should make for nice finish though, id of gone the easy route ( NOT ) but couldn't find any missile red vinyl tape.:tennis:

Btw.. tape sbould only be used for gluing and fitting canopies.. not finishing them.. lol but I have seen it done quite well actually, I just like to make things as difficult as possible. I sometimes think I might be stalling from doing the covering.. that means ill be done building.. what will I do then ? answer: build another one !

On to the fiberglassing, first time doing this procedure and nervous as all hell about it but went finer than fine and very happy. 3/4 oz sig cloth and west systems resin used.

Kinda funny, ive had some requests to continue my build on the " other " site, I guess some folks refuse to make the switch, so until then ill have to claim dual citizenship until im done with this one for the sake of friendship and information.

How did you do your control arms? I saw the finished product and they look good. Mine are some kind of composite also.

The horns for ailerons and elevators are from JTEC, and the rudder horn I built myself from carbon and fiberglass sandwich stock.
