I have a first place 2.4 gas engine for sale
4 months ago I took it to kirk ant first plane engines in Greenville pa
to get checked out to have a new ignition put on. I had the older ridge machine ignition taken off
and a new hub with a rcxel ignition put on . it know take a 4.8 to 8.4 ignition battery instead of a 4.8 volt pack
it also added 500 more rpm to the engine. starts easy and runs good.
I did have a custom pitts muffler for it but I don't know where it is I cant find it. so I will
include a used fpe 2.4 muffler that was given to me.
the motor runs good and the inside of the cylinder and piston are in real good condition.
no signs of neglect. excellent compression and bearings are smooth
this would make a excellent engine for a scale plane. I was going to put it on a great planes big bipe but I found out they quit making the big arf.
