Thanks for starting this thread! I didn't know what a Whipit was till I saw it mentioned here.

No problem, I was surprised this thread got so many replies. I just found out about the DLG world a couple weeks ago myself lol.

fwiw, a discus launch glider and a nearby slope and you can be flying for a while. we've had guys at the field thermal up over a flat field from a discus launch and fly for a long time.
