    Awesome achievement...First flight of a full-scale electric seaplane...a Harbour Air de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver with a 750 hp (560 kW) motor.

    I was surprised to see that they used a radial engine beaver design over the turbo beaver design to do the conversion. Pretty neat stuff right there. It will be exciting to see a push for new battery chemistry/storage in the future (with hopes of the RC industry taking FULL advantage of it)

    Awesome Ingenuity...one of my favorite race planes has always been the Red Baron RB-51.
    The challenge of modeling the contra-rotating props is now commercially available.
    Not quite the sound of a Kolm, Moki or Valach, but I like the screaming vapor passes!
