Airplane Cradles in the Shop, What works, what doesn't?
Not sure if this has been posted yet. This is my absolute favorite stand. Very stable and easy to put your plane upside down and on it's side to work on and the casters are great for moving it around. It's a little pricey but well worth the money. http://rcairplanestands.com/2.html- T.I.T

Amount of space between cowl and carb

Amount of space between cowl and carb
It certainty won't hurt anything to cut an opening to get more air to the intake. I plan on putting a screen over the opening to keep crap from being sucked into the carb. Any suggestions on a what to use for a screen?- T.I.T

I'm getting what seems to be an excessive amount of fuel dripping onto the cowl, almost like it's choked a little but the choke is completely open. Also not getting great gas mileage. Never mind I found the answer on DA website. I should have 1.5" between carb and cowl. Guess I'll be making an opening under the intake. Not sure why I didn't think of looking there first.- T.I.T

let us talk about fuel tank clunks....
I use a fiji water bottle with PSP cap and a 3 line setup. I use a felt clunk in the tank and I also put a felt clunk in my filling can to act as a filter to the gas I put in the plane.
