    42" Vyper Bype

Mine wasn't too bad. You have to do the typical mixing to eliminate coupling but that is true with all biplanes. Once that is done, it is as graceful as a butterfly and crazy as a six-year-old on sugar snacks and mountain dew. I'm building mine this week. :D

    Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc)

That's good to know. I'm excited to see this thing in the air!

    Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc)

I hate to be the guy who asks if there's homework at the end of class but I was just on the product page for this aircraft while on my lunch break and I noticed that it is currently priced at $379 for the red version while the blue is currently priced at $549. I just wanted to let you guys know...

    Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc)

I like the pre-sealed firewall. I love the looks of that plane, btw. She's looks like she's going 100 mph just sitting there. Assuming she flies as good as she looks I think aerobeez will have a winner! :)

    42" Vyper Bype

I just bought a replacement for the Byper I crashed at the end of last season. I loved this plane so much that I had to have another and all of my electronics survived so it's a no brainer. It should go well along with my Redwing Slick. :D

    3DHS 92" Edge 540 (Electric Build)

I fly IC because I don't have power at my field so I'd need a generator to go with my charging box. I'm working on it though. Electric is nice because if you do everything right it will just work. There's other options too. Motrolfly has a new 50cc equivalent motor and batteries will last you a...

I love flight. That is the same reason I tell people why I don't fly full scale. I'm an entry level chemist with other commitments. I make up for it though. From 3D for me, gliders, helis, multirotors and scale with my dad, sport with my club, and scratching and flying foamies with Lily, you can...

    New Models

Look up KEMax. It's a plug in for 3dsmax that lets you import models that you create there into rf. My buddy did the Stingray for CYE. He used Blender and 3dsmax for the modeling, did the textures in GIMP, and fine tuned the physics in the sim. Knife edge has tutorials on their website about...

I saw this video. It looks like it will be a good flyer.

Let us know how it goes. I'm intrigued as I can put a LRS module in it rather than have a large box that hangs off the back of my dx8. Plus I like cheap receivers. :)

    RC on the cheap

Very true. If I had the funds I'd build two airframes side by side. One with budget gear and one with top end gear and test them both. But I'm an entry level chemist. I need to get a promotion or two before I can really go nuts.

    RC on the cheap

Thanks Gary. I'll start with the budget shops that I'm familiar with. 1. Altitude hobbies 2. Buddy RC 3. Ready to fly quads 4. Radical rc 5. Va models 6. Laser toys

    RC on the cheap

A good source of cheap local dsm2 receivers is the Lemon RX line from readytoflyquads.com. I use genuine Spektrum/JR DSMX in anything that has money in it but these are great because I build cheap stuff from Flite Test out of foam board every now and then for newcomers to the hobby to try...

Redwing Elite 50cc Slick 540 (new scheme)

Is this a prototype of something full scale or something that you created?
