PLA? PETG? What percentage infill if any? Very intrigued that they are lighter than ply! 4mm is a good choice for thickness in my opinion, if any smaller it wouldn't have anything to bond to and would be subject to flexing. IMAC Scratch build Laser 200
Probably has to do more with precision than anything else. Having a retractable lower vertical is something nobody sees and will be truly unique. Would get a lot of attention if you did have any interest in it. Either way, your builds a re a joy to follow!!- AKNick

I’m going out flying thread 2019
Took the icon A5 to the lake. Had a good fifteen minutes of flying. Until it flipped taxing on the downwind. This is why you bring your lovely wife along to go retrieve your plane. Could have been just because it was my birthday.... otherwise maybe she’d laugh and make me go get it.- AKNick

Any ideas for the best method to paint the inside of this canopy? Going with a medium gray. Keeping it light as possible, not sure whether to lightly dust it with spray polyurethane and then brush on some paint. Thoughts?- AKNick

Could have for sure. Maybe it's just me being lazy. Takes time to draw it up, and I haven't tried to epoxy PLA plastic before. Most plastic control horns are nylon I believe and they flex easier than PLA, so If I were to try to attach it like a conventional control corn, I'm pretty sure it...- AKNick
