That would be in his settings somewhere as I'm pretty sure I remember the feature being there to turn off conversations.

Yes laminate them together. You can go 3/4" fuse if you want but 5/8" will be plenty strong. Yes Vertical fin should be 3/8" if built per the plans. Snoopy did his slightly different as he ended up air foiling the control surfaces, but doing it per plans the way I would is build the fuse as one...

I will find a picture of it. I think he had a DLE20 on it. Said power was good but he had it way tail heavy and stuffed it in on the maiden before he could really get a feel for how it flew. Don't think he has had time since to repair it.

Looks great. “Glitter 2” technically. Matt P built one back in August over on Probro site. Didn’t post much about it though.

If your doing any 3D modelings it’s totally worth it. Only thing I don’t like and I turned off was having the zoom on it as well. I much prefer having the zoom remain on the scroll wheel of the regular mouse.

Apparently clipping the corner of a shed is the limit at which I finally broke a prop adapter. Time to see if my design skills are up to the task of designing a 3D printing a replacement.

I got them for it. I was taking off and landing in the gravel driveway where the snow hadn't started sticking yet at my parents house. last landing it just rolled into the grass. little bugger does fly great with floats though.

Discussion The I’m Going/Went Flying Thread

Did a little snow time flying this afternoon. Now what is on the tires is all there from landing but all the stuff all over the rest of the plane is from while in the air. could really feel it at the end of the flight but it was fun.

Well I can't get the computer to remote into to be able to have a license to run inventor from home but I will do my best to explain without them and can post pictures tomorrow. Take the horizontal portion of the fuse. That is actually done in three different sketches and could have been done in...

Little more to it that that but yes I could use them to turn it into a 3D model. Now doing full fuse stuff I’m not sure about just yet but will get there. Little later when I’m back on the computer I will take some screen shots and explain some of the differences between it and AutoCAD. Simply...

Yes full blown inventor from Autodesk. It’s on my work laptop provided to me so I didn’t pay anything for it. Just check out a license when I want to use it. Here is the start of a flat plate foamie.

covering all the edges first on a profile is the best way to go but it is tedious work especially when working on one that is smaller and only 1/4" thick.

I just based it off the foam I have in my shop currently which is depron that is right at 9mm thick which close to what most EPP out there is. Basic specs are 32” span 29-1/2” long. Hopefully only about 7-8 ounces all up wieght. If you look at the 32” foamies that value hobbies sells it will use...

Haven’t done anything RC related with it yet but started learning a 3D design software called inventor. Really cool program but totally different from what I’m used too with 2D AutoCAD.
