    The GP176 is a beast for sure. If any engine that size can pull it off, it's the GP. One thing about it Stang, if its not up to par, you can always swap it out for something else. Since you already own the 176, why not try it! I can't wait to see how it does. :yesss:

    Worked on my Grasshopper some more today. Had my first real challenge of the build so far. Landing gear had to be hand bent out of wire. Then tied together with spiderwire. Also had to hand shape the false spars on the top front of the cabin. Took my time and I think both came out well enough.

    Multiplex plugs - What's the consensus?

    My uncle Bill uses the Multiplex plugs in his planes. Works great and makes for a super clean interior.

    That's great news Mike! My first 5K of the year is in May and I've been trying to get into shape after the winter break. It's been tough because old man winter just won't give up. Had another does of snow this morning in fact. It didn't stick around long though thank goodness.
