    Just my opinion, but here is my advice: Buy the plane you want... Then worry about the engine. I know you got a nice da50, but you can always get a nice da70, or gp61, or whatever. Airframes are a little harder to pick. Good luck with your choice! -G

    It flies very well! To me, it flies equal with my 3dhs 92" Edge and EF 104" Extra.

    I haven't as my Hacker experience is limited... I usually send all my repairs to Ken Man (subsonicplanes) as his labor rate is downright phenomenal and I pretty much only run his motors these days. Not sure what the AeroModel prices are, but probably wouldn't hurt to call them tomorrow and see :)

    A few weeks ago, but had a deadstick when the engine seized. Waiting on new LG but threw a spare set from an Extra on in the mean time. Hope to fly again next weekend.

    Build time! Even got some of Hitec's new feather servos. Not much more in $$ than the blue cheapie TP-90 out there, but better torque, speed, and Hitec quality :)

    Neither Redwing nor Pilot used an original scheme. They're both copies of a full scale. Sorry about the crash :( I used a bell crank on all of mine. In the 3dhs 92 and Aeroplus 92 Edge, It comes out of the fuse on the side just past the cowl. On the Redwing 89" Extra, it's going to come...
