    2014 3DRCForums Freestyle Competition

Oh lol... guess I got confused. Anyway... my family would feel pretty bummed if I took off to Eugene for a competition instead of taking them to Yellowstone or the Grand Canyon or something. If it was within 5 or 6 hours I would consider it. I'd drive 5 hours by the time I was hooking up with...

    2014 3DRCForums Freestyle Competition

That would be cool, but my busy audit season starts in October. I'll likely be out of town at a client in Arizona.

    Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc)

Luckily on the 74 slick I could get them in with a straight extension with the DLE 35 installed. If you are going to play with Aerobeez planes you need some driver extensions and a flex driver for sure.

    What 3D Champion Fly's What?

With that being said, that corvus looks much more capable than the su-26.

    What 3D Champion Fly's What?

It looks plenty floaty but the wings are rocking a lot. I have a feeling the pilot is having to work really hard to harrier that plane. A plane that harriers well usually has a nice flat bottom. Wing area is important as well but it needs to be in balance with everything else.

    What 3D Champion Fly's What?

It's your money :) buy what you want. Just go I to it realizing that you have conflicting desires. You are set in a certain plane but it isn't going to perform to the high level you are wanting it to. It would be a great sport flyer that can do a little 3d. It just isn't going to be a 3d...

    What 3D Champion Fly's What?

Any of the round bottom planes are going to have issues post-stall. Some manufacturers have done a good job of addressing this but I don't know about the goldwing model. The MSXR is a racing plane built for speed. You could probably 3d it but it is not going to be a "3d monster." From the...

    What 3D Champion Fly's What?

This is an interesting topic. The answer isn't simple so it will likely come down to a bunch of opinions. The model the plane is patterned after makes a difference, but the way the modeling company tweaked it matters more. You will find that an extra is not an extra, an edge is not an edge...

    Aerobeez 26% 74" Slick540 Build, Maiden Log!

Thanks guys. I gotta get some video of the nice stable high alpha knife edge. I tried that a few times toward the end of the flight after the recording cut off.

    Aerobeez 90" Extra 330SC (50cc)

I like the grabber tool ;) gonna have to make me one of those. I have been doing the nose down shake n bake lol. I guess that starts to be impractical on the larger planes. I agree that a tube for servo wires would be nice. A pull string would be an added benefit as well.
