    It sounds like the internal bec is not functioning. You should contact the vendor you got it from for tech support and/or warranty service. I have had esc's function fine for hundreds of flights when the internal bec did not function. One solution if you are not able to get it replaced...

I could only get 38 degrees on one and 45 on the other before servos started to bind and the stabs started to flex. I cut them off and have re-hinged them to get about...

    Yes. It sounds to me like the rx isn't getting power at all. Your esc never gives you the armed beeps, right? Try disconnecting the esc from the rx and see if you can get the rx to respond with a battery or another esc. Basically we want to see which compo ent is having issues.

    That is a good guide for any 2 stroke gas engine. I personally dont go too crazy with it though... I just tweak it with my throttle curve and end points until I like it.
