    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

Tom it sounds like you need to check for gremlins! Go through that baby and figure out where you might be using too much capacity. If there is an unhappy servo it could be drawing a lot of extra current.

I love life packs and use them in my planes. I think their positives outweigh the cons. I do use a lot of a caution though. I know Tom has enough fun planes to fly to take time out for charging after three flights ;)

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

Wow... you are using a lot more power than I thought you would! That is at least double what I am using on my 35cc plane. Life packs are a little scary in the sense that you basically get zero warning before they die. One minute they function great... the next you are total deadstick. I...

Twisted Hobbys / RC Factory's Brand New 36" EPP FLASH NG, "Official Build Thread"

with no gear a soft harrier landing in the grass is ideal. My last several foamy's had no gear... I didn't mind it. But... for indoor or a paved runway I wouldn't go without gear. It just depends on where you think you will fly it the most. I like having the gear on my 39" CY... even for...

    YELLOW JACKET 6 CELL 22.2v 3750mAh 40c REVIEW - by kevinjulieevan

I like the comparison. I have seen some that really stress the batteries. You can see some differences doing that that maybe wouldn't show in a lower stress setting. But in reality, we ought to be trying to choose power setups that allow plenty of extra head-room. Any pack that is...
