Aerobeez 70″ Slick PRO Step By Step Build Guide

You are right about 6s being just fine. There are some benefits to be gained by going with higher voltage though. It would cut the amps in half which gains efficiency by less heat loss etc. We have one or two threads here on the site discussing the benefits of 12s on a 30cc airframes.

It doesn't have to weigh more. For instance... 2 6s 2500's weigh the same as one 6s 5000 and have the same amount of energy in them.

I definitely like the 3dhs schemes better, but the EF planes fly amazing.

If you want something good at precision and 3d you have to put the new AJ Laser in the mix.

Great to see you Pontus. Life is just clipping along... I still feel like I'm waiting for flying season to start even though the weather is never consistently bad here in Vegas. Work has just been super busy.

Those are all good planes. I don't think you could go too far wrong with any of them. What are the strongest metrics for you that could help you choose?

Not only that, but if you are pushing the genny to it's capacity it is working really hard.. better to get a 1500 watt generator to have some head-room.

This was my new to me 3dhs 72 Extra. The plane survived pretty well. I was able to get it flat for a pancake landing that broke the landing gear, wheel pants, wheels, cracked cowl, and a little motorbox damage. I had spares of everything but the cowl so I didn't even have to go shopping ;)...
