    WOW - great numbers from that MKII Torque motor! Good info on the EF Extra and MXS...if I ever got an MXS, that sounds like the one to get.

    It is sunny with light winds today...if I wasn't working, I'd go fly (at least for a little while...at 15 degrees I can't stay out too long...but last year I flew every month of the year, and I hope to do that again this year!

    Glad you got a chance to fly it at least! Tail heavy CGs do make for interesting maiden flights especially! ;) Just getting it down in one piece is a victory!

    Ha ha which Airfoilz did you crash? I had an Airfoilz Yak54 FF airframe that I flew and crashed a bunch of times before the last crash wrote off the airframe...I probably could have repaired it again, but the weight of the repairs had started to add up. :)

    those watt numbers sound great...I've got a 6s setup on my 58" Edge as well...hoping to try one of these motors to compare with the Motrolfly 4315-480 that I've got on it now!

    A deep cycle marine battery like this one: EverStart MAXX-29 Marine Battery (or something similar) should work pretty good for field charging. (at least, it works for me).

    Yep, you are correct. I've got the 306b and it works great. I do not have a need to charge 10S packs, so 6S is fine as a max for me. I parallel charge 4s and 6s packs on my 306b and it does the job splendidly.

    Yep, you are right...people are rarely a "sort of" Rush fan...I'm one of the diehards :) Kansas and to some extent Yes are also good bands that include classical music in their style.

    The 71" Gas Slick airframe is hard to find...I waited six months last year for them to come in, and grabbed one right away...they sold out very quickly and they've been out of stock for quite some time since then. I did find a few used 89" Slick gassers for sale recently....

    Yeah, I've got some canopy glue as well; use it for canopies on smaller planes...dries clear...easy to use.
