    That's horrible! That must have just happened after the 3DBash? I remember the few times I was out flying at Bennett I was warned about the reeds, and that IF I lost a plane in there, it might as well be the Bermuda Triangle... That there were thousands of dollars worth of (likely flyable)...

    Yes, I believe you still need power, however, not all USB plugs are equal, and some don't supply power to any device.

    Side dump. Due to the cowl shape, I can make one small hole for the exhaust and it'll look nice and clean.... I'm more concerned about how I'll get enough air over the jug without hacking up the front of the cowl

    The intent of the max throw during set up, is more to allow the cortex to move your controls to their maximum capability even if you are flying in low rates at that time. If you set it up with 125% because that is the max safe/correct/equal deflection, that will be fine.

    Well, hone1er flies an all white plane all the time, so maybe he can comment about orientation. Also, you can add some custom vinyl to help out if you need it. I know an awesome vinyl guy :)

    I use a WrongWayRC 12oz tank with my DLE 30. I land after 15min with a quarter tank left, and I'm heavy on the throttle.
