    Pilot RC 122" Extra 330SC

What I do is I remove the wing bolts and keep them in my hand and do one wing panel at a time- it's difficult for me to do another wing panel when my hand is full ;) Then I double check before the canopy goes on. I'm habitual with stuff like that, it's difficult for me to forget.

Are you going to register with the FAA? Cast Your Vote!

The question is, how will this 400 feet be determined within accuracy if the aircraft does not contain altitude sensing equipment on it?

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Well... it was a little wet last night, but not enough to shut down the field. So 3d shenanigans ensued!! Burned a gallon between the last 2 days. I'd say a weekend well spent.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Went down into the shop and dusted off some of the Pilot 107" Edge parts, cut out the slots in the elevators for the servo arms and cut out the servo bays in each wing panel. Getting it prepped for equipment.

    New Build Help

Well you also have to remember that 3D airplanes are also VERY draggy- they're not designed for speed, they have a lot of surface area all over the airplane which creates drag. If it's all out speed you're looking for then an EDF jet would better suite your needs.

It's probably Secraft, not 100% though. Bought the airplane 2nd hand. I like the quietness of the cans but I feel the engine has more in it without the cans. I'll keep them on until something goes wrong with them.

Broken header from this weekends shenanigans, so a new one was in order. Happened to have the exact header I needed, so in it went. Boy was there a lot of thick black slime all around the broken joint  Next time a header breaks, out come the cans, and in goes a set of mufflers. In...

    New Build Help

I ran the A60-18L with a Xoar 24x12 PJN and 12s 5000 30C packs in my 50cc Yak 54 and it hauled that airplane around with authority. It's probably going to be way overkill and a lot of weight for a 30cc airplane though, the motor alone weighs 2lb- coupled with the mount and the ESC you need...

    Battery Charger Recommendation

That's because it has an oilite bushing inside. The oil is impregnated into it and as it heats up from use, it draws the oil out. You can put a drop of 3 in 1 household oil in the fan bushing if you want to quiet it up.
