The Original 50cc from 3DHS, the 85" Katana!

I guess I should try it. I don't even do it in 2 servo wings, now do I have equalizers. Just mechanically adjust by feel and sound. I've only burned up one servo since flying 100cc plus planes in 11 years. Am I just really lucky or am I draining batteries and putting a lot of strain on my gear?

    Redwing RC 76" MXS-R

I do understand what you mean. But a lot of it just takes a lot of time. A lot of guys just like to get new stuff all the time instead of putting 100s of flights on an airframe to learn it. Granted some guys, like the ones you mentioned, can fly anything and make it look good the first time...

    Da-120

I've always wanted to try the 29x9 Falcon. I've flown a 28x12 Mez and 29x10 on a Carden 260. I agree the 28x12 is sweet. The 29x10 was something wood and was just too slow for me. The way that Vess 28b stealth rips it around, I just keep flying and haven't bothered changing it.

The Original 50cc from 3DHS, the 85" Katana!

Shouldn't need an amp meter on a 50cc. Actually I''ve never used one ever on anything. Do as Gary said. I just eyeball the throws. Set the ailerons up the same and you are set. One thing I do is check all directions and stuff and flip every switch and stuff at the same time. Some times...

I haven't seen the Laser but I know the 60" Extra is on rails and would be great to practice all sequences. I have basic through advanced all writen in "Dummy Form" for myself. If anyone is looking for one of those to be posted, let me know and I will type it up. Makes it easy for...

IMAC learning and support using flight videos

I just finished writing sportsmen and intermediate in what I need for practice, call it reading IMAC for dummies (aka me) I will do basic, and advanced, type them up and post soon. Guess I'll have to get the old computer out and set up my old sim, after watching Nate, I want to practice.

IMAC learning and support using flight videos

I'm in the same boat. Not much around unless you really travel. But practicing it makes everything else better, 3D is easy compared to IMAC because there is no lines and a box oh and rules. I will preach this til the end lol

    111" Extra 330LT

+1 one on the WOW. I think a guy at our field just ordered a Corvous. And my Dad is looking for a 120cc plane this winter. I'll send the link:thumbup: Side note, 120cc are climbing into 40% size!

IMAC learning and support using flight videos

Was going to say. A Slick is real. Not 3DHS Slick is a little different. Personally I think the 89" would actually do better with that long fuse and wing shape. Though they all are designed by one of the greatest pattern pilots of this era.

IMAC learning and support using flight videos

Thanks, I have 4.5 now. But as usually after a few years the computer craps out. Just don't make anything to last. Looking at a new laptop, and then getting a cord to hook up to the living room tv. But was thinking about Upgrading Sims too.

    Fancy Foam Mini Raptor

Thought I'd do a little review on a sweet little plane from Fancy Foam. The mini Raptor, can be found here: http://www.fancyfoam.com/index.php?main_page=product_bundle_info&cPath=123_90&products_id=372 I have flown Mike's (owner of Fancy Foam) prototype mini raptor at a huckfest so I got...
