Stupidest thing you have ever done RC related.

Had a Seagull Lazer early in my flying career. Took off with ailerons reversed, dumb :steamer:, got it back on the ground with only the gear knocked out so lucky!:p Was recently flying an old glow Extreme flight Yak 1.60 using the old 72 radio. Taxied half way out to the runway and was...

If the guy wants to mount a firearm on a drone and fly it on his private property then the Libertarian in me has no problem with that. But, Why in the :steamer: video it and put it on Youtube! This is another example of "you can't fix stupid.:gnashing: @Islandflyer, understand when the FAA...

    Ultimate Bipe Assembly

Well got a major part of the ultimate assembly done tonight, the wiring. As all you know that is probably the most important part of any assembly because without power, you aint flying, or worse, crashing! I like to use the plastic wire conduit to protect the wiring from any rub. Cable ties...

    pilot edge 540 50cc

Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like my original plan for a DLE or EME 55 or 60 may be the best way to go. I hate butchering a cowl so no twin here. I'll wait for the 111 twin in my next bird. :yesss:

    pilot edge 540 50cc

Hey folks. Now that I am getting close to finishing my ultimate build I'm starting to look ahead to the edge build. Thinking of putting a DLE 60 twin on it. Anyone have any experience with the twin and will it fit OK in the edge cowl?
